Our restoration business was founded in 1987 by sole proprietor Robert Dorman and has since expanded the business with the help of partner Ron Ragains. Bob and Ron both share a life-long love for collector cars, and pooled their many years of experience to offer a facility that supports sales and service under one roof, and a fine collection of special interest automobiles-for-sale, which compliments the long-standing full service restoration shop. Our clientele consist of museums, hobbyists, and collectors of vintage, special interest, and sports cars from around the world.

Dorman Garage is located in several charming turn-of-the-century factory buildings in LaPorte, Indiana. Just 60 miles southeast of Chicago, our northwest Indiana location is convenient to major interstates, highways, and airports.
